Help needed - Experian says I'm deceased

So, picture this: I'm just minding my own business, trying to get pre-approved for a mortgage because I found the perfect house. Exciting, right? Well, not so much. When I checked my credit report on Experian, I nearly fell out of my chair – they've marked me as deceased!

I'm writing this post because I've hit a dead end (pun intended). I've tried calling them, emailing them. No luck. They keep telling me it's under investigation, but it's been weeks.

I stumbled upon this article https://dulinlawfirm.net/experian-credit-showing-deceased-alert/ , and it seems like some folks have been through the same thing. It's a relief to know I'm not alone, but I'm desperate for some guidance on how to kickstart this process. Has anyone here faced the Experian deceased alert and managed to get it fixed? How did you do it?

I've got a dream home on the line, and this mix-up is like a horror movie playing out in my financial life. If anyone has any tips, tricks, or success stories, I'm all ears.
